Be met at Delhi International airport by our company’s representative who will assist with luggage and escort you to your vehicle. After a traditional welcome, you will be transferred to one of Delhi’s most famous heritage hotels for a welcome drink and a relaxing first evening in India.
Today we visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib – one of the most prominent Sikh houses of worship in Delhi – and stop at an open air government market to sift through home wears, rugs, jewellery, clothes, handicrafts, and have a bite to eat.

Today we visit Old Delhi. After experiencing the quiet majesty of India’s largest Mosque, the Jama Masjid, we take a walking street food tour though the busting laneways of Chandni Chowk
Return to hotel for an afternoon at leisure. You may like to relax by the swimming pool, indulge in a massage or explore the historic neighbourhood of Civil Lines.
In the evening we have dinner and explore the creative Lodhi Colony district.

Following breakfast at the hotel we will travel by bus to our next destination, Agra, stopping for lunch on the way.

At sunrise, we take in the dream-like splendour of the Taj Mahal. The first rays of sun reflecting off the glistening white marble of the monument are truly something special.
In the afternoon we enjoy tea and snacks at a cafe which is part of an initiative supporting local women.

Following breakfast, we drive to Jaipur by bus.
En-route, we stop for lunch at Laxmi Vilas Palace, Bharatpur, arriving mid-afternoon in the vibrant capital of Rajasthan; Jaipur (also known as ‘The Pink City’).
The rest of the day is free to relax by the pool, play cards, or have a massage!

The day starts with a sunrise yoga session on the rooftop of our gorgeous hotel. Then enjoy breakfast at hotel and a day at leisure.
OPTION – Enjoy some retail therapy with a tour of Jaipur’s best Rajasthani handicrafts including blue pottery, hand block printed fabrics as well as silver, gold and gemstones.
OPTION – Massage and consultation at an Ayurvedic clinic.

After breakfast at the hotel, we take a jeep ride to the gates of the Amer Fort. Established in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh of the Kachwaha dynasty, the Amer Fort houses ornate palaces, courts, stairways and pillared pavilions which are open to explore with our local guide.

In the afternoon we explore the Old City – City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Observatory, shopping in the bazars.

Following breakfast at the hotel, we set off for our next destination, Udaipur, also known as the ‘Venice of the East’.
As the sun is setting on Lake Pichola, we take a boat cruise around the reflective waters and have dinner overlooking the breathtaking vistas of Udaipur.

Following breakfast, the rest of the day is free. Udaipur is a lovely place to wander around. You may like to have a massage, explore the City Palace, visit the Jagdish Temple, shop in the small boutiques, do a yoga class or just sit by the lake eating chicken tikka!

Transfer to the airport to board flight bound for the sprawling, sparkling city of Mumbai. We will be travelling by plane for this journey, and so will experience first-hand the explosion of air-travel in India. The domestic airport can be an adventure in itself!
We arrive in the late afternoon and after settling in, we have dinner on Marine Drive.

The day is free or take a tour with Ali. You can see local and historical pieces in the Art gallery precinct; visit high-end boutiques full of Indian home wares and fashion; walk through leafy streets, past churches and stately government buildings; and wander through parks full of criss-crossing cricket games.

In the evening we go out for a special farewell dinner at a famous seafood restaurant.
